Broadway’s luminaries were lovingly, elegantly snared in Al’s web of lines. I walked away overwhelmed by the graceful drawings that captured a star’s essence. It seemed he would be here forever immortalizing in black and white line, hiding the name Nina cleverly for fans to find, but in 2003 he passed. He left theater history.
